AQUAREAD is the world’s first eco-friendly, safest & non-electric water level indicator. This unique innovation helps to INDICATE THE LEVEL OF WATER IN THE OVERHEAD TANK 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without any consumption of electricity or power at all.

The original idea surfaced from the daily need of knowing the level of water in the overhead tank at home, so that the user could switched / put off pump or motor. Resulting in curb on wastage of water & power and thus helping in continuous saving of money.

All the other water level indicators currently available in the market operate on either electricity or some form of power, hence the user is required to spend money as recurring expenses on these sources moreover, such products involve risks as water is a good conductor of electricity, besides other functional and installation disadvantages.

The unique thing about this innovative device AQUAREAD is that it is only required to be JUST PLUGGED / ATTACHED INTO ANY TAP (in kitchen near the sink or in bathroom near washbasin or at any appropriate or convenient place) WITHIN THE ENTIRE HOUSEHOLD and it is ready for use. To install this device no masonry, civil or any extra plumbering is required.
 

WORKING OF AQUAREAD

The device consists of a hollow cylinder, a flexible- pipe, bladder, washer and a spring. On one side the bladder is attached to the flexible pipe. Above the bladder is the spring separated by a washer. The other side of the cylinder is closed.

Working: As the flexible pipe is connected to the tap (connected to an over head tank), the BLADDER FILLS with water. The increase in volume starts pushing the spring in the cylinder (via the washer). If the water tank is full, the spring is fully compressed. When it is half, the bladder, filled of water is pushed down by the spring, indicating accurate the level. And finally on an empty tank, the spring is fully de-compressed, and the water level on the device window, shows an empty tank. Thus, the position of the washer, on a meter/calibrated window on the device cylinder indicates (and REPLICATES) the level of water in the over head tank.

SCIENCE BEHIND THE INNOVATION

The Scientific Principal involved in Aquaread is that the pressure exerted by the volume of water in the over head tank is available at the tip of every tap in the house hold. This pressure is directly proportional to the level of water in the tank. This fact is utilized here, to inflate a bladder inside the hollow cylinder; this in turn pushes a spring which finally indicates the water level.
